Scenic drive or flight-plus-transfer into southwestern Uganda. Watch terraced hills give way to dark forest walls. Lodge check-in, trek briefing, and an evening of cool highland air and wood-fired dinner.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Park briefing, porter hire, and trek into the impenetrable forest. Duration varies — your reward is an hour with a habituated gorilla family. Afternoon recovery with massage or tea on the lodge deck as mist lifts and settles again.

Batwa Trail & Forest Edge
Walk with Batwa guides learning how the forest once provided medicine, music, and myth. Optional short birding walk for endemic species. Afternoon free; packing for tomorrow's return.
